Case Study – Macdonald Hotels

Macdonald Hotels continue to be delighted with the service provided by Skyguard, twelve months on since SG500s were introduced into all their hotels across the country.

The hotel group realised the importance and necessity of having a system in place to protect their employees following a number of incidents of assault and abuse. In one such incident a night porter was attacked with a sword: he has been so traumatised by the incident that he has not returned to work.

The Skyguard Service has given night porters and leisure staff, who are often working alone, the confidence and security they need to carry out their normal duties, such as security checks in the car parks.
