Palm-Sized Personal Safety Alarms
Using palm-sized personal safety alarms fitted with the latest mobile phone and GPS technology, a call for help is just one button away. Each of our alarms is fully compliant with British Standard BS 8484 – the code of practice for the provision of lone worker devices. The GEMshield personal safety alarm is also accredited with the Association of Chief Police Officer’s (ACPO) coveted ‘Secured by Design’ and our MySOS unit is the smallest personal safety device in the UK, making personal safety even more discrete.
Each of our alarms feature:
- One button alarm activation
- GPRS technology provides fast and effective alarm transmission with SMS as a backup
- Two-way audio allows our controllers to communicate with the user
- GPS technology enables us to see accurate user location during an alarm
- Speed dial buttons which connect directly to contacts of your choice (e.g. a supervisor or carer)
- Voice memo function allows the user to leave a message, providing information in an emergency
- Our GEMshield features ‘Man-Down’ – a fall detector which raises the alarm if it detects a trip or fall
- Instantly locate the whereabouts of our MySOS device and view the exact location, in real-time on a map via an internet-enabled computer or mobile phone.

Each of our devices provides comprehensive cover by giving you with direct access to our Incident Management Centre,
and the array of personal safety and backup solutions we can thereby put at your disposal. What we offer is a complete, flexible
service package; for just a minimal monthly service charge.
Our service packages include:
- Free unlimited emergency calls to our Incident Management Centre
- Free personal safety device or mobile phone software application
- 5 minutes of test calls and voice memos per month, for your peace of mind so that you know how to
connect to our service and to confirm that your details are up to date
- Complete access to our 24/7 secure Customer Service Centre Portal, to manage your user/device details and reporting tools including mapping location history
- Fully managed emergency service. When we receive an alarm, we’ll take care of the whole incident, from activation to resolution
- Dedicated Account Manager and Technical Support team
Roaming SIM packages are available on request should you need additional network coverage.
